Oh dear, just another crazy vegan.

A regular YouTuber with her own channel and 5,000 subscribers, she described herself as an animal rights activist and vegan bodybuilder.

I remember when you did not feel the need to act the fool in every thread, are you unwell, Mr Pig??

Sadly the woman shot a man, who is critical, and reported as her "partner", and two women, both doing fine, and herself. She was obviously not a great shot, as the only person she managed to kill on the spot, was herself.
It is also reported she was p1ssed that she was not making enough money from her youtube channel.
I suppose a job was out of the question???

The problem is that vegans and vegetarians just don't know how they fit into a world where their species is omniverious.

The poor dears get all confused
They crave meat, but refuse to give in to their subconscious desires to be normal human beings.

This creates a mental illness where they continually ;
protest about normal humans eating meat,
yelling and screaming about poor animals
Go all weird and suffer vitamin deficiencies
Smoke the only true plants they love
Try to convert normal human beings into underfed, malnourished, brain dead vegans.

Sad innnt?

I don't know of any who do.

That sort of stuff is nonsense, usually just eaten by newcomers to vegetarianism.

You think wrong.

You did say natural herbivores ...

Correct.

Herbivores, not vegans.

You know the difference, yeah?

Enlighten us Greg? Both eat only plant products?

Herbivores have facial muscles designed for running down blocks of coon on the open plains. Totally different from vegans. They are pussies.

"Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals."

"A herbivore is an animal anatomically and physiologically adapted to eating plant material, for example foliage, for the main component of its diet."

I find it quite unbelievable that this needed to be explained to two grown men.

Wonders never cease.

FD and Set: your white flags have been accepted.

So your difference is one has a philosophy that they can enunciate to you and the other may have one they can't?

Being herbivorous isn't a philosophy, Set.

You should have quit while you were miles behind.

I have never, at any time, said that humans are naturally vegans.

Why would I? - It's a ludicrous proposition.

You've gone down far more ludicrous paths in your pedantry Greg.

All you have is that the difference between a man as a herbivore or a vegan is a state of mind, a philosophy, a belief. He is a "natural herbivore" but that, beyond the politics, is a vegan. If that is the case, and it takes a conscious effort to be a vegan, a philosophy, to be a herbivore/vegan, that is going against man's nature. If that is the case, man must be a natural omnivore.

As I've pointed out, our whole build is as a predator, you don't need this to eat grass. We can outrun any prey, our eyes are a predators eyes, our brain is a predators brain, we use that to make tools to down animals 100 times our size.

If you didn't get it, my point is we are not natural herbivores. We are hunters, predators. We may have evolved from grass nibblers but we are not that same creature now. We all(animals) evolved from the same source DNA, we are not all the same and we change.

Nope.

Milk and nuts, actually.

In order to get meat one must kill an animal, butcher it, and then cook the meat.

Nuts can be picked straight from the plant, and milk can be obtained straight from the cow/sheep/goat/whatever.

And, neither require cooking.

Much, much quicker.

Spot on.

Eggs can be eaten raw too, just like nuts.

Can't get a quicker dose of protein than that.

Nuts. Broccoli. Milk. Eggs. Peas. Lentils. Chickpeas. Beans. Wild rice.

All good sources of protein.

Depends if there's a cow around or not - they don't run that fast.

Nuts are much easier to obtain - so that would be my choice.

How quickly could you get a steak in a natural setting FD?

Wow. It's always interesting to see just how wacky the vegans can get. So you would run down a 'slow moving' wild cow and try to get milk from it?

What if there were no cows and no nuts around? Would you go back to using your snout to dig up potatoes?

Are you a vegan Greg?

What makes you think I would go for steak if I was in a hurry to get food?

Nope.

Milk and nuts, actually.

In order to get meat one must kill an animal, butcher it, and then cook the meat.

Nuts can be picked straight from the plant, and milk can be obtained straight from the cow/sheep/goat/whatever.

And, neither require cooking.

Eggs can be eaten raw too, just like nuts.

Nuts. Broccoli. Milk. Eggs. Peas. Lentils. Chickpeas. Beans. Wild rice.

All good sources of protein.

Herbivores also eat dirts i.e. clays & chew on carcasses of other dead animals when they lack certain minerals.

Seem to change their diet somewhat from simply being herbivores.

Are you embarrassed at not knowing the difference between a vegan and a herbivore?

I'm curious.

So your difference is one has a philosophy that they can enunciate to you and the other may have one they can't?

If you think I'm being silly then we will move on to the belief in the "sentience" of animals that vegans have. You may call it anthropomorphism but vegans may well disagree.

Being herbivorous isn't a philosophy, Set.

You should have quit while you were miles behind.

I have never, at any time, said that humans are naturally vegans.

Why would I? - It's a ludicrous proposition.

Following FD down this path (of lies) has made you look the fool.

I doubt you'll be able to redeem yourself.

Correct Set .... some 2 million years of evolution.

The meat industry propaganda has worked well over the years.

People actually believe that they need to eat it in order to be healthy.

I've worked at a pace farm and these chickens suffer. Because they never move they have poorly formed legs and don't last long. Veges are still part of the problem and they don't even know it.

Eggs and cheese aren't meat.

Now, who eats the plastic wrapping?

It varies. Some eat cheese, some don't. Some eat eggs and not cheese. It's as confusing as the trannie debate. There's either one or the other to me. Don't eat any animal product. That's a vegan.

No.

It's not confusing at all.

You're either a vegan, or you're not a vegan.

There's no such thing as a 'strict vegan', in dietary terms (there might be vegans who are strict parents, but you would call them strict parents - not strict vegans).

To make it easier for you, there are:

- vegetarians

- vegans

- lacto vegetarians

- ovo vegetarians

- lacto-ovo vegetarians

- pollotarians

- pescatarians

- flexitarians

- fruitarians

Have I missed any?

My idiot sister is vegetarian, eats bulk eggs (her body obviously wants her to eat meat) but no dairy (lactose intolerant, but she isn’t) and no wheat “feels bloated afterwards” just a collection of fads.

So many good things to eat! I eat them all! Meat, fish, eggs dairy (I should have had radical osteoporosis but eating heaps of dairy and walking a lot meant barely perceptible calcium loss from my bones.) Love dairy: milk, cheese, yoghurt, icecream. Have started eating a bit of sashimi: kingfish, tuna, salmon. I eat leafy greens almost every day.

Stuff fad diets/lifestyles. We are here but once, enjoy it!

The Chinese/Asians do .... it's a delicacy apparently.

No chance me.

btw the animal in the egg came along before the outer shell that made it what you call an egg.

And if you knew your biology you'd know that the shell doesn't make it an "egg".

The ova pre-fertilization with sperm is an egg.

A human ova is an egg ..... it never develops a shell now does it?

So many good things to eat! I eat them all! Meat, fish, eggs dairy (I should have had radical osteoporosis but eating heaps of dairy and walking a lot meant barely perceptible calcium loss from my bones.) Love dairy: milk, cheese, yoghurt, icecream. Have started eating a bit of sashimi: kingfish, tuna, salmon. I eat leafy greens almost every day.

Stuff fad diets/lifestyles. We are here but once, enjoy it!

I try not to eat wheat. I was tested and dont have a problem with it. Its the other additives (thanks john howard) eg the soy and the folic acid that is added in australia.

Spot

I did a bit of research in it—some customers at the brewshop had to switch to gluten free beers (VERY limited range, I told them to learn to malt buckwheat.) But most were wheat intolerant because of additives in the wheat. I would hate to have to do without bread (sourdough wholemeal or rye) or beer! I have a fall back—cider, in a few years that is.

My mother is 89 and thinks shes a pescatarian but well she eats bacon occasionally. Hahahaha Guess we need a name for that too.

My daughter went veg at about six or so - lots of little girls do - but she would eat a sausage roll.... not meat... now she's an omnivore in the best traditions of the family...

Well, there's not much meat in a sausage roll anyway   :)

Meat is meat ... even sausage or sausage roll meat with the breadcrumbs is meat.

Do you think we are naturally dietary vegans Greg? Why are you so afraid of your own opinion on the matter?

Why did you not post the link to where you got that definition of vegan from Greg? Is it because it goes on to contradict you?

There is much that I know.

For example, I know there's no such thing as a 'strict vegan'.

Are you a strict meat eater, Gnads?

I'm curious.

Me

At least once a day, every day, sometimes more.
Just like my old man
Just like my grandfather's

All lived comfortably into their 90s

Vegans rarely live that long
The insecticides poison them.

Indeed.

Thank God there are no insecticides, carcinogens, bacteria, antibiotics, hormones, dioxins or any other toxins in meat.

Humans crave protein and the fastest way to get that is by eating meat.

Actually, it's EGGS
Followed by wild salmon and cottage cheese

Of course, the beef industry will try and tell you otherwise

All animal products & not the food of herbivores ey?

Eggs and cheese aren't meat.

Now, who eats the plastic wrapping?

if an egg has a partially formed animal in it then it's meat.

And if it doesn't, it's a bird's period.

so can eggs be meat then?

Eggs are eggs. A form of protein.

Spot

So if an egg has an animal inside it ceases to be an egg?

WTH? Of course its still an egg. If theres an animal inside it the animal inside it is an animal. the egg is still an egg. what is the point of this line of questioning? Do you eat eggs with animals inside them?

Spot

An egg can be meat and an egg. It's just a fact. Do you know that when a vege eats an egg he/she believes no animal suffered when it fact it did?

No i dont know that. In fact you dont know that either.

Spot

So if an egg has a fully formed animal in it ready to hatch and you eat it that's  not eating meat?

Of course its eating meat. Who would eat it though? Would you? And whats it got to do with your previous statement?

Spot

People around the world eats eggs with animals in them. Look it up. In asia it's a delicacy. Pecca said eggs aren't meat. He was wrong. You just sided with me.

I havent "sided" with anyone and eating meat is eating meat. Eating eggs is not eating meat. If you want to eat an egg with an animal in it then you are eating meat.

Spot

You came from an egg ...... maybe. ;D

You still are an egg ..... head.

Awww you are resorting to insults again. Hit a nerve?
