Seeing the World's End and getting pissed at the World's End are two totally different concepts, people, and let's face it...
It it's the Ened of the World we'd all want a pint or six. |

I love that picture. The Ivy Mike shot, the first thermonuclear Teller-Ullam device ever initiated producing 12MT of Instant Sunshine over the South Pacific. Where you see the end of the world I see the end of world wars, Spot.
Everytime I see that photo I get Judy Garland singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" stuck in my head... |

Why do you Westerners (Americans) exist at the 'End of the World' in your perceptions?
I guess when you look at the International Dateline, Namerica really is at 'The End of the World'. And we Australians (Non-Westerners ;) :P) ) exist at the start of the International Dateline and celebrate the New Year the best. That's why I always say: I might be 'Down Under' (for them) but I'm also a 'Day Ahead'. ;) ...so you can all be 'Down Under' Aussies for them if you like. ::) |
