It dawned on me at a business meeting.

About a dozen other business owners were there and every one was upbeat ,Optomistic, energized, feeling a great vibe.

Of course this is going to result in a feeling of personal power and agency.

You see the government as a bit of an obstacle but mainly irrelevant.

Then I thought about the media and the public service.

They just see problems, catastrophic events, losers , leaners, whingebags, complainers, criminals, problems, fires, car accidents , all day long.

Of course that's going to make you feel sad and weak and you are going to look towards some hero in Canberra to save you comfort you and lead you.

The government can only be seen as a saviour to people who are feeling yucky. Awesome conservatives don't need them

Big government and leftie ideology is the natural home of the loser and the media and public service are in total sync with losers and failire
