"The Arabs raided sub-Saharan Africa for thirteen centuries without interruption," reads a loosely translated excerpt from The Veiled Genocide, a book by Tidiane N'Diaye, a Franco-Senegalese author and anthropologist. "Most of the millions of men they deported have disappeared as a result of inhumane treatment. This painful page in the history of black people has apparently not been completely turned."

Coast of ZanzibarIn East Africa, the coastal region served as the primary route for the slave trade, with Zanzibar functioning as its central hub.

Enterprising Arab merchants and middlemen would gather in Zanzibar to acquire raw materials such as cloves and ivory. They would then purchase enslaved Africans, who were forced to carry these goods and labour on plantations abroad. Slaves from as far as Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia were brought to the Zanzibar market and shipped across the Indian Ocean to the Persian Gulf and Arabian Peninsula, where they were forced to work in places like Oman, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Notably, African Muslims were exempt from enslavement due to Islamic legal views.

The Muslim conquest of India from the 10th-13th centuries was extremely violent and devastating. Mahmud of Ghazni led the initial invasions, attacking and pillaging major cities in northern India and returning to his capital laden with riches looted from Hindu temples. Subsequent rulers like the Ghurid and Delhi sultans continued the pattern of invading, destroying temples, massacring civilians, and establishing Muslim rule through violence and terror. The sultans implemented policies of heavy taxation on Hindus and prohibiting Hindu religious practices in order to undermine Hindu culture and resistance to Islamic rule. This long period of conquest and domination greatly weakened India economically, socially and psychologically.

The term *”White Slaves of Islam”* refers to the historical practice of enslaving Europeans by Islamic powers, particularly between the 16th and 19th centuries. Although this form of slavery is less widely known than the transatlantic slave trade, it profoundly impacted European and Mediterranean societies. Much of this slavery was the result of piracy and coastal raids, especially by the infamous Barbary Corsairs, who operated from the North African coast—modern-day Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya—and through Ottoman conquests.

Interesting meetings in Washington and NY this week:

The UN will consider the proposals in Trump's plan with reference to a 'future Palestinian state'.

The war criminal  Netanyahu is already objecting, ofcourse.

Meanwhile the Saudi leader is visiting Trump in the WH; Trump wants to obtain Saudi agreement on "normalization of relations with Israel"; but the Saudi leader  is insisting that Israel recognizes Palestine first.

Given that the war criminal Netanyahu has resisted the idea of a Palestinian state for many decades - which indeed is the ultimate cause of the Oct 7th Hamas attack - Trump may be facing a spot of bother....

Stay tuned...

Latest news from the UN.

UNSC vote on Trump's Gaza plan;

13 in favour

2 abstentions

No objections.

Resolution  passed.

Note: the 2 abstentions were Russia and China, who said the UN Secretary General should lead the negotiations, not just the US:

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/un-approves-u-s-plan-authorizing-an-intern...

Stronger language on Palestinian state helps get the US plan over the finish line

During nearly two weeks of negotiations on the U.S. resolution, Arab nations and the Palestinians had pressed the United States to strengthen the original weak language about Palestinian self-determination.

The U.S. revised it to say that after the Palestinian Authority — which now governs parts of the West Bank — makes reforms and after redevelopment of the devastated Gaza Strip advances, “the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood.”

“The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous coexistence,” it adds.

Obviously Russia and China have legitimate concerns that the US might be influenced  by Israel to kick the Palestinaian statehood plan into the 'never never', as evidenced by past US behaviour re UN resolutions...

Naturally,  both Hamas and Israel opposed the plan, but they didn't have a vote (in the Security Council)  - fortunately.

Well - it was pretty strong on one point - GAZAN self-determination would rely totally on ZERO Hamas.  Hamas - of course, are currently trying to 'level the playing field' to leave only themselves available - by genociding other tribes who oppose them.

Getchu heads outchu asses.

There will NEVER be a reliable and peaceful government in Gaza while ever Hamas persists, and the whole thing will have to be done all over again if they are ever given time to rebuild.

Next time Israel should just go in and smash the joint to the ground, root them all out and get rid of the lot - and do it quickly to avoid long drawn-out losses and the ability of the world 'media' to mobilise and start spouting lies again.

Your error: Gaza is part of Palestine, no-one (exept possibly Hamas elements)  is considering  'Gazan self-determination.

The Americans - IF they are comitted to a Palestinian state, can rebuild Gaza and manage the establishment of the Palestiian state -  as outlined in Trump's plan, and desired by everyone except you and the war criminal  Netanyahu.

Er.....there were lots of Nazis still alive in Berlin at the close of WW2; pictures of Gaza and Berlin show the same degree of destruction - how much destruction of life and property do you want to achieve 'victory'?

(Don't  answer that....).

You're a circle talking circle jerk DH.

There is no such country/state as Palestine & no such people as Palestinians.

If there were then Jews(Israeli jews) would be Palestinians.

So talking in that vein is a moot point.

STFU with your incessant deluded lefty diatribe.
