Two survivors were released after another boat was
blown up.
They were rescued by a US Navy helicopter after DL ordered the extrajudicial killings: a Columbian and an Equadorian.
The pilots didn't know what to do with them, so after some toing and froing, the traumatized survivors were dropped off in Bogota and Quito.
Charge them, local officials were told.
What with? The officials asked, incredulous.
Anything, the US Navy demanded, and flew off.
The two men were provided with medical treatment and returned home.
Ecuador has now joined the complaints filed by Colombia and Venezuela to the UN and ICC.
DL admitted his sole reason for giving the order to take out the boat was it's semi-submersible status. "I don't know who else uses submarines other than drug terrorists", the big fella said.
Well, drug smugglers, oil rig technicians, maritime researchers, the list goes on.
The survivors of the attack were cleared of all wrongdoing by their respective officials. They are reported to be recovering from their ordeal.
