So let's release them. Even the lawyer representing Epstein's victims agrees, he supports full disclosure, with redactions only for those victims who wish to remain anonymous. That's the sensible, humane, and just position.

It's a win–win. Transparency, justice, and respect for victims' privacy.

And since your only concern appears to be protecting victim identities, and not shielding anyone named Trump, you should be loudly calling for Trump to sign the executive order and make the files public.

Unless of course, your supposed concern was just a fig leaf for obstruction.

Don't get us wrong, nobody seriously thinks Trump will release the files. His entire political survival hinges on suppressing inconvenient truths. But that doesn't mean the files shouldn't be released.

The disturbing part isn't just his inaction, it's your defence of it. Instead of demanding transparency, you're bending over backwards to excuse why it won't happen. You're not arguing for justice, you're running interference for a man neck-deep in scandal.
