Is it true that there has only ever been one single proven case of a wrongful removal? You know - not just for abuse, neglect, near-death, suffering both physical and mental, emotional trauma and so forth?

Why do the mobs who were shipped to the preacher station at Wadeye remain there? Why have they not 'gone home' to their land stolen twice? It's not as if anyone is PREVENTING them from 'going home'.... or FORCING them to stay there and fight it out daily....

Could it be that they are too afraid to try it alone 'out there' again ... KNOWING it's too hard?

Thats not the story I get from people who were involved, parents and children have told me different stories, some did not work out but many have contented lives. You only want to fixate on some negative aspects of what happened and not take a more holistic view.

Thats not the story I get from people who were involved, parents and children have told me different stories, some did not work out but many have contented lives. You only want to fixate on some negative aspects of what happened and not take a more holistic view.

I suggest you read the the written testimonies from the "National Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children from Their Families" and see if "the holoistic approach" you advocate still exists afterwards? Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes
