Lots of people are hugely successful without one.
Lots of people get a degree and never use it.

When I have been in a position to employ people I found better value in avoiding applicants with a degree for technical work, they were often more trouble than they were worth. Often a kid off the street would be a better option, they would come up to speed quicker.

Well - look at the Woke - many such have degrees but can't tell the difference between 25 killed in BLM riots and reality - or between Gazans attacking Israelis and murdering 1200 or so etc and Gazans being attacked without reason....

They camp outside the universities you know and harass Jewish students trying to get a decent life via education... and I was called a racist for pointing out that BLM rioting in the US cost 25 innocent lives while burning down businesses and cars and such for no real reason.... many such critics have degrees.... Newcastle Uni had a notice in the men's toilet once - roll of toilet paper with sign saying - Arts Degrees - Take One!

Now it seems the requirement to get into a degree course is to have sht for brains.... after  stint on the toilet bowl many such leave their best part behind...
