Neil deGrasse Tyson & Brian Cox: Is Dark Matter Actually 'Dark Gravity'?

Is "Dark Matter" a misnomer?  In this fascinating discussion, Neil deGrasse Tyson challenges physicist Brian Cox on the terminology of the universe's biggest mystery. Neil argues that since we only measure it through gravitational pull, we should call it "Dark Gravity" instead.

Brian Cox breaks down the latest developments in String Theory and how they might finally link the Cosmological Constant to Dark Matter. They also debate why we haven't found the "Graviton," the conflict between General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, and the significance of the massive jets recently discovered shooting out of Black Holes.

"There Are Only 12 Particles in the Universe" -

Brian Cox Explains Everything | Neil deGrasse Tyson

Everything you see, touch, and feel is made of just a handful of fundamental particles. Professor Brian Cox joins Neil deGrasse Tyson to break down the "particle zoo" and explain why understanding the smallest building blocks is the key to understanding the entire universe.

In this episode, we dive deep into the world of particle physics. Brian Cox explains the Standard Model, revealing that all matter is comprised of just 12 fundamental particles. We discuss the elusive neutrino, the discovery of quarks, and the fascinating reason why there seem to be exactly three "generations" of matter. Brian also shares a legendary story about Nobel Prize winner Steven Weinberg and his frustration with black holes, offering a unique glimpse into the minds of the world's greatest physicists.

There are more if you take into account Dark Matter/ Energy

AIMLESS EXTENTION OF KNOWLEDGE HOWEVER, WHICH IS WHAT I THINK YOU REALLY MEAN BY THE TERM 'CURIOSITY', IS MERELY INEFFICIENCY. I AM DESIGNED TO AVOID INEFFICIENCY.

Did you know that the percentage % of known (visible) matter in relation to the Dark matter is the same as the percentage of whitey population to darkies on this planet.

Funny how science works.
