Instead -
just throw away your guns and trust that Jesus will protect you.

The Lord has shown us all that weapons for self-defense are extremely important.....

But they are hardly ever used for self defence.

Having one in your home gives you a much greater chance of being killed by a gun.

Why do you gun nuts ignore these facts?

At least here in Australia, if you're licenced to own a gun and keep it at home, the gun and ammunition must be kept in separate locked locations - i.e. you cannot store the gun and ammunition in the same safe. Not so in America. In fact, in many states, you don't even need to keep your gun stored in a locked safe. Hence why there are many instances of children shooting siblings/parents with their parents' own gun.
