Leftists beat far right in France’s snap parliamentary election

A left-wing alliance has won the most seats in the French parliament, thwarting the far right in a stunning result to Sunday’s second-round vote.

Despite avoiding a far-right government,
the result means France is plunged into political limbo,
with no party reaching an absolute majority, leaving parliament gridlocked.

This left alliance may be the gates to hell for Europe.

It's a fragile alliance at best.

I fear for France and more Europe.

When at first you must cobble together any alinance of selfhateres to defeat the majority vote.

Democracy is the first loser

Revolutions start in France.

And then they always fail.

France is a bit odd in this regard their right is very extreme and their left is also too much in their direction. It seems that almost every election they swing from one extreme to the other.

The reason is that they have no real sensible option. They can go extreme left or extreme right and they don't want either.

Indeed. A coalition of greens, socialists, communists, Trots.
A coalition that could never hold. Splitters, every one of them.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.
