I have been to Egypt and Israel, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus,
Crossing form Cairo into Israel on the way to Jerusalem WAS like crossing from Desolate Africa into Switzerland. Even the grass was greener or the Jewish side.
Israel is like a tiny island of civilisation in a sea of dark, menacing superstition and stupidity that is the Muslim world around it. It is palpable, visible.

Jews are not a race. Some Jews think the "Promised Land" " belongs to them because they are "The Chosen People.
