You produced a quote saying the dog needed to be trained
I produced a quote saying she was training the dog to go after birds. Obviously it wasn't trained or it wouldn't have killed her neighbours chickens.

How much stress or pain do you think a dog experiences if it gets shot in the head by its owner?
depends on how she did it, doesn't it. Did it sound to you like she was being rational?

You said all dogs were legally required to be secured so it is not physically possible for them to escape.
yes. Thats the law. Like i said, people like you should not be allowed to own dogs.

Have you finally realised how stupid that claim was?
no, i've realised how stupid you are to think otherwise.
this is the law in NSW, al the other states have similar laws.
Quote:Under the Act, dogs and cats must be identified and registered (Companion Animals Act 1998, Part 2 Compulsory identification and registration of companion animals). There are various restrictions on dogs and cats in public places and obligations to remove and dispose of faeces (Part 3 Responsibility for control of dogs and Part 4 Responsibility for control of cats). An owner must take all reasonable precautions to prevent a dog escaping from the property where it is kept (section 12A). Local councils can also make orders restricting the number of animals kept at premises (Local Government Act 1993, section 124).
You shouldn't be allowed to own a goldfish, let alone a dog given how oblivious you are to the legal requirements of owning dogs.
