If the dead murderer stabbed heaps of people ,

Where is all the blood that should be on his hands ?

I'd say it's in Westfield's, DO. It's been declared a crime scene and closed to the public. Do you deny it?

Either way, keep on.

I saw one picture where the psycho killer was lying in a pool of blood.
It's been censored on TV - blurred out.

It was fitting that a female cop took him down after the coward targetted females and babies.

However my son queried why some of the men in Westfield didn't gang up and take him down earlier.  He said the attacker was very thin and unfit - which is why he cowardly went after females - and babies.  A couple of big guys could have easily attacked him from behind.  They could have picked up anything to use as a weapon - chairs and bollards.  One lone guy did that with a bollard at the top of the escalators.  The guy was definitely not going to take on men - like the father who turned around to protect his wife and young daughters and the scumbag took off in a different direction.

There were lots of very young fit and healthy guys in that shopping centre.  They should have been protecting the women - and babies.  He had a knife - sure - but it wasn't a gun!

Remember Mert Ney who had killed a woman and knifed another and was on a rampage in the Sydney CBD in 2019?  He was taken on by a bank worker in a suit, who grabbed a cafe chair and followed him and took him down with that chair along with some other guys who came running with a chair and milk crate and they pinned him down until police came.

(I posted an image here but apparently it is not allowed - yet)

All heroes!

Should have happened in Westfield.

Yes I actually was thinking of that situation with the guy in suit getting a chair and following that idiot. Shouting out to warn everyone etc
I recalled  it as I saw the recent footage of the bloke with the bollard.

That dad that protected his wife and kids … when he turned to the perp with arms out… and cowardly the perp veered off away from him.

I was reading how he would go into a particular shop a couple times a week to have his knife sharpened and the shop owner thought it strange knowing he was not a butcher.

It’s obvious the intent was there for a while, the obsession.

Yes. I too wonder why there was no concerted group effort of the men (or Guards) to take him down like in other situations?
Maybe everyone was too busy pulling out their phones and recording the moment?

Technically, cops could arrest you for assaulting a shopping-mall customer, a happy, gay shopper.

you'd have to do 1000's of hours of training before that instinct would kick in,  jasin

you have to build the "muscle memory"

someone who did a lot of martial arts...maybe

even then , its a novel scenario and its doubtful you would be able to think and you would be acting on instincts

instincts built on how you train, every day

Well - when you live in a country where men have their balls removed from early childhood and are punished for 'toxic masculinity' when they stand for simple right against wrong - what can you expect?

Damn, but this women's equality has some drawbacks.... once upon a time some bloke would have punched the dork out - nowadays that guy would be in the dock charged with assault... how many times have we heard of that one?  Look what they did to that cop in the NT for shooting an armed attacker - 'they killed my boy - he was only playing with them scissors and they accidentally went off.... death in custody'....

Be wary of what you sow - you just might reap it.

I blame society as a whole for losing its balls.... YOU?  Look at all the ads for sheilas in the armed forces doing all those heroic things... then they drive trucks and cook mostly and cop all the kudos and medals.... and then they can't find the men to fill the fighting spots, as usual.  then there's our ball-less mummy's boys 'national leadership' run behind the sheila's skirts to please mummy ....  FFS ...

Wake Up, Australia...

I blame the feminists!  YOU??  Where were the butch sheilas to stand up to this bloke?  Nowhere in sight... running like the wind.... praying for some bloke to intervene.... at least the lady copper was easy on the eye....  Wink  Wink  Wink

Bobby - Nope I've never watched a Steven Seagall movie in my life.

Sophia - so what does that say about Sydney guys?  Thinking back about the Mert Ney attack - the three other guys who rushed in to help the bank officer were all from Manchester on a working holiday in Sydney.

Jasin - Unfortunately you're probably correct there re the phone.

You're sounding a bit like a hen-pecked husband there, Grappler Truth Teller.

Thank god there are guys who are prepared to take on an attacker and not run away.

The bank worker in a suit who ran towards the assailant and took him on received these awards -

The Stanhope Gold Medal from the UK Royal Humane Society, The NSW Royal Humane Society Gold Medal for bravery and the Galleghan Award for the most outstanding act of bravery in a year.

Well done!

it sounds easy in theory aquarius.

but , when confronted with a very fear inducing situation, nearly everyone will freeze .

i remember being at a pub and they had 1 yo bulls out the back you could ride

and i had watched lots of bull riding but i'd never actually ridden one but i thought i would give it a go.

and because it was the first time i faced that, i got sweaty palms, the taste of metal in my mouth, my muscles went tight, when the chute opened , i went into a almost fetal position , couldnt "go with the flow" and i was promptly ejected "down the well"

if i did that a dozen times, i'm sure id get better but you'd probably have to do it 1000 to actually master it to any degree.

and a guy with a knife would scare me at least as much as a bull and i would say it would take me a while to get that fear response under control

its the same when someone collapses with a heart attack, ambos who have seen it a 1000 times jump into action.  citizens take a little while to process it

its why this cop was able to act.

she had probably done live firing 1000's of times
and did it on instinct

i wouldnt blame people for their
"reptilian brain" taking over

thats how humans are designed

now if this guy came at your kids, your reptilian brain would also take over.  this is why the mother died protecting her baby

brave..yes, but also instinct

the security gaurd who had been in it for a week
(and didnt have 1000's of reference experiences)
he was brave
