Spot the difference: the KMT leader is visiting the mainland at Xi's invitation, while Takaichi is determined to maintain the  division between the mainland and Taiwan, on delusional "democracy" ideological grounds.

And so that's your proof.  Grin Grin Grin

And nothing about China's aggression against other countries that share the China Sea. Even passage through is deemed a hostile act. Wink

Crippled-brain lee, can't address the debate - and he's free to vote which is why democracies are failing around the world.

It seems the CCP are more respected than democracy's "beacon on the hill" .....oh dear....
(google)

A 2026 Gallup poll found that China's global leadership approval rating (36%) surpassed that of the United States (31%) in 2025, marking the widest margin in China's favor in nearly 20 years. The decline in U.S. popularity was driven by a record 48% disapproval rate, while global views of China's leadership improved.

Low IQ lee is allowed to vote - a disaster for good governance: KMT and Xi agreeing to seek peaceful reunification in line with the One China principle (upheld by the UN) proves war can be avoided provided the DPP 'democracy' goons in Taiwan don't force the issue of independence and instead seek mutually advantageous relations.

The world's largest deepwater container port (off Shanghai)  needs the Taiwan strait to remain open, dummy.

So unnamed polls and those polled found favour. That is telling but not in the way you think. It just shows how people find the Chinese cute, like Pandas. Just don't let them near, they kill.  Roll Eyes

No. It only proves it possible if both agree to the terms. Roll Eyes

Xi claiming that the KMT agreed to reunification, and the KMT actually agreeing to it, are two different things. Like every lie told by the CCP.

Furthermore, the KMT is struggling to win votes, and is losing a lot of them because they are even willing to turn up to these BS spinfests.

Does that ring a bell with your 'communists' as well?   Don't send to ask for whom those bells tolls.... and don't bother asking if the belles even toil any more..

It says they are grappling wiht the evident failures of free market economics (eg housing booms and busts).

China (and Taiwan) claims sovereignity over some rocks in the SCS; Vietnam is solving its differences with China peacefully, and as always it depends on who is governing the Philippines regarding its stance toward China.

Meabwhile the US and Oz - and everyone - are sailing through the SCS, while China is promoting the One China principle.

Your confusion is breathtaking: Marxism is a worker-friendly ideology ("workers of the world, unite")  increasingly obsolete in an AI and IT/robot-enabled economy.; MMT is a description of money and its creation.

China is rapidly employing robots to create the world's best-value consumer goods - and Trump is horrified....; but China is also grappling with mainstream 'government debt' nonsense.

Quote:

On the contrary, Trump has rejected the DPP's push for formal 'Taiwan independence'; and Trump will need to be very careful about the proposed US $14 billion arms sale to Taiwan if he wants Xi to visit Washington soon. Xi can live with defacto independence for the time being, so long as it remains informal and not recognized by the US/UN.

Quote:
Nope. They have since been built into islands. Wink

yes, good as bases for mounting attacks on 'Taiwan independence' fools like you who want to meddle in the SCS.  Note: a majority of Taiwanese DON'T want war to achieve formal independence from China.

Quote:

Yes, those pesky man-made 'islands' in the SCS will deter intrusive aircraft and ships from pro-Taiwan independence fools like you.

Your errors:

1. You failed to achowledge your error re  "Marxism" and its increasing obsolescence in the modern AI/robot-assisted economy, which China is developing at a faster rate than anyone else.

2. In the last 3 months, I have walked the length of George St in Sydney on a Saturday night, and the comparable Nanjing East Road in Shanghai.

Nanjing East Road is Shanghai’s premier pedestrian shopping street, stretching approximately 1.6 km from the historic Bund to People’s Square. Renowned for its neon-lit architecture and bustling atmosphere, it serves as a central hub for shopping, dining, and sightseeing in the city

Observation: there is no homelessness in Shanghai, unlike that evident in Sydney's CBD.

3. As for Xinjiang's  "slave/forced labour camps":

The Xinjiang internment camps[note 1] are internment camps operated by the government of Xinjiang and the Chinese Communist Party Provincial Standing Committee. Human Rights Watch says that they have been used to indoctrinate Uyghurs and other Muslims since 2017 as part of a "Strike Hard Campaign Against Violent Terrorism", a policy announced in 2014 after the May 2014 Ürümqi attack.

ie "indoctrination" against terrorist separatists.... cf Netanyahu's methods against terrorists....

Funny how 'Human Rights don't include common prosperity/freedom from poverty in democracy ideologues' minds...

And cf in Oz, where 3rd world poverty in the abo camps outside Alice Springs is allowed to fester, courtesy of your evil 'survival of the fittest' free market economics, so domestic violence is rife.

Quote:
Strawman argument. Wink

On the contrary: what Trump does will determine war or peace in the Taiwan Strait; Xi is winning hearts and minds in Taiwan, without firing a shot.

And as Trump said to idiot "democracy" separatists: Taiwan is 10,000 kms from the US cf 130 kms from the Chinese mainland..implying logistics problems for the US.

Quote:
Nothing to do with me, more on Chinese hegemony. Grin Grin Grin Grin

I know you will seek to ignore the growing anti-separatist movement on Taiwan, evidenced by widely appreciated visits of the KMT leadership to the mainland recently.

Do you work for the CCP?

The Port of Shangai can operate through the Taiwan Strait without affecting the bottom of Sth China Sea - or more correctly the West Philippine Sea and the Spratly Islands -

which China has taken over and built military bases there on man made atolls.

This is disputed territory which is also claimed in total or partially by  Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

You do know that the "abo camps" are there precisely because the aboriginal population wants theme there. it is not mandated. There are perfectly good camps with facilities that were wanted by the aboriginals, but it was too far to go for "entertainment". Roll Eyes
