Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

someone has to save the cheers from themselves and Australia from the cheers.

You really want them to control your country?  Are you mad?

Try a simple rule of thumb.... which one of them would you wish to be your boss on a job with the power to dictate to you every move you make and even your right to work and earn?  Which politician would you offer the same right?

There's nothing more tedious than someone telling another "to get a life". Roll Eyes

Then why does it need to be enshrined in the Constitution?

Obviously you have no idea why it should.

It is to give Indigenous Australians their due recognition, so Racists and Tories cannot do away with it quite so easily.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

We already frickin' know that the indigenous were the first people on Australia. What should be proposed is that the constitution be amended where we acknowledge that the indigenous lost control of Australia to the European settlers. We own Australia now. We have even been generous enough to invite indigenous people to become part of our nation.

Victors can be gracious in their victory.  Indeed it pays them to do so, otherwise the Indigenous will have grounds for grievance.  Australia's Indigenous are not going to disappear, despite the best efforts of the Racists to eliminate them.  We can either learn to live with them or live against them.  Which do you think is the best way to organise a society?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I think we should be living against having to put up with barbarism. Indigenous culture is largely barbaric. That needs to be eliminated.
