I posted some good info about codeine—which is what Mersyndol is.

Day strength is a very light dose, can still drive on it.

Night strength is much stronger: first time users will likely fall into a deep sleep for a few hours.

The info I posted mentioned “tolerance” where more and more opioid are needed to get the effect one tablet gave initially. Taking a big load of opiates is not a good thing to do.

As to where Larry gets the Mersyndol from is a relevant question: I doubt it would be prescribed for an ongoing problem like sciatica—tolerance, dependency and addiction. So where does Larry get his Mersyndol from?

All relevant—withdrawal will be a huge problem for Larry and he has no one there to help.

Larry admitted to taking ONE Mersyndol (codeine) each night.
I posted a heap of stuff about codeine addiction.

Look up “tolerance” where the body needs more and more of the drug to get the same effect one tablet used to give. It isn’t one tablet Larry takes each night now.

Raises the question—where does he get the Mersyndol from? It is no longer available over the counter. A doctor would not prescribe it for a long term issue like sciatica—dependency and addiction will follow. A big stash, a drug dealer? One of the two.

I predict that before too long we will be blessedly free of Larry for several weeks as he will be in drug rehab again.
