Pauline Hanson

Good on Pauline for telling Senator Mehreen Faruqi to "piss off back to Pakistan". We need more politicians with the guts to take these ungrateful immigrants to task. Another leftie that doesn't understand the meaning of the word" racism".
If she wants to go on about human rights and racism she only has to look at her place of birth and the persecution of Christians by the Mussies.

Yeah, another leftie that fails to understand the meaning of the word racism. Sad but typical.

Thank you for this well considered, thoughtful comment Ron, in
support of the execrable Pauline Hanson whom you seem to see
as a vision of reason and rationale.

The twice divorced Hanson was a high school dropout, after getting
pregnant at age 15—which marked the end of any further education.
As a result, she has a very limited intellectual mindset, and a poor
grasp of politics, race relations, civil law, sexual and gender issues etc.

Recall, her main claim to fame(?) was running a fish and chip shop,
after working as a clerical assistant and barmaid.  Obviously then
she's not the sharpest tool in the toolbox LOL.

On the other hand we have Mehreen Faruqi... who holds a Bachelor
of Engineering, a Master of Engineering Science, and a Doctorate in
Environmental Engineering.

So I think we can see who's better educated and therefore far better
qualified in order to work in parliament.

...

Hanson's crude, racist insults directed at Faruqi further demonstrated
her lack of formal education and her inability to move on from the 1950s
days of black and white TV, 'reds under the beds' and 'the yellow peril'.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You have a credential-fetish, pal, like illiterates have for books, no matter what's in them.  There are no 'education qualifications' to be in parliament. Ben Chiefly was a train driver.

But perhaps Faruqi's PhD thesis in particular qualifies her for being a Greens senator, spouting toxic nonsense:

Intensification of anaerobic lagoons for abattoir wastewater treatment and biogas recovery

The art and science of emitting stinking hot gas.

So... a little hypothetical Frank.

You have two local candidates running for a political seat.  One runs
a fish and chip shop, and the other is a triple-certificated university
graduate.

The former is transphobic, racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic,
anti-multicultural and anti-Asian, and a global warming denier.

The latter is none of those things, except of course being a Muslim.

So Frank, which one would you choose, and more importantly why?

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

This must be your idea of a trick question Geoffrey.  Very transparent.

None of your characterisations of Hanson or One Nation are true.

transphobic = it is an idiotic formulation. Lazy attempt at blackmail.
racist - another stupid lazy label thrown around to avoid thinking
xenophobic - and another
Islamophobic - and another
anti-multicultural - the only sensible stance regarding multiculturalism is to oppose it. It is a lot of nonsense.
anti-Asian - crap. not wanting huge numbers very rapidly is a sensible immigration policy.
global warming denier - a mindless, empty formulation signalling idiocy and laziness in the mental department - like the other lazy little slogans you let off.

I am surprised you left out from your recitation the slogans du jour - fascist and far right/ultra right/extreme right. This sort of stupid labelling is calculated to rule opposing ideas out of court out of hand,  in order NOT to need to defend you own stance. Too transparent, a favourite tactic of people who have learned the shibboleths but (or rather because) they cannot think.

"Emma Eros is a mother-of-two, a businesswoman and a Muslim activist and, as of Monday, One Nation’s newest candidate for the upcoming NSW election. Here, she explains her decision to join the controversial political party. So why One Nation? Because I believe the One Nation party of today is inclusive and equal.

I fully support One Nation; I hold the same ideals and aspirations as One Nation, even when it comes to slowing down immigration, despite the fact that my family emigrated here from Lebanon in the 1960s. I believe charity begins at home when it comes to immigration and we have to look after our own people first. Australia is very welcoming but must be wise to immigrants from countries who will not integrate or respect our way of life."

OR

A woman believed to be One Nation's first Asian candidate is not offended by Pauline Hanson's infamous remark 20 years ago that the country was at risk of "being swamped by Asians".

Shan Ju Lin said she believed she and the party would get the votes of "good Asians" in the Queensland election, slated for 2018, as they too feared the rising influence of the Chinese Government in Australia.

She understood why Ms Hanson made those comments, which included claims that Asians "form ghettos and do not assimilate. For European people it's very difficult to distinguish Chinese or Korean or Japanese, and I can understand why she said it," Ms Lin said. "She sees the problem ahead of everybody, including you and me."

OR

The Indian candidates all know each other. Nik Aii Reddy, a Pauline Hanson’s One Nation candidate, is standing in the seat of Bancroft in Brisbane’s north and is a former deputy to Mr Thevar at the FICQ.  Born in the southern Indian city of Hyderabad, he says race is not a barrier and denies the party he has twice been a candidate for is racist.

"Not, like, racism, but people do have views, that happens everywhere, I guess," he said.“I believe this the only party that speaks up for all Australians, it doesn’t matter where you come from."

PS

What's with the "AUS" in AusGeoff?  Signalling what?

If the Muslims are in Pakistan, they are not "Mussies". "Mussies/Muzzies" refer to "Aussie Muslims".

Tucker is a fascist worm, nobody should agree with him. He even supported the insurrection and the stolen election lies. Yes Tucker hates America that much that he was on board for overturning their democracy.

He is an opportunist who does not even believe what he is saying himself.

His network dismiss him in court as an opinion writer who's opinions are not to be believed.

In short Tuckers employer knows that he lies to his audience and like it that way.

There is no worse or more unreliable source for information in world broadcasting.
