No it’s not pumpkin…. It’s sweet potato  Smiley

I usually buy the purple/hawaiian kind if available.

I grow my own sweet potatoes along with normal potatoes. These are the easiest veges to grow too!

LOL.

Pork sausages and vegetables for dinner tonight. Same as it was last night and for the next 9 days.

Why are you eating the same type of meal every night??

10 out of 14 nights of the fortnight, I eat pork sausages and vegetables.

I don’t understand why???

Well they are the easiest veges to grow Dumbarse Drunk. Obviously you find them difficult to grow given you’re 80 yr old, always drunk and oh yeah .... you have a bad hip. 😩

It is $11 for 2 packs of 8. Two sausages a night for 10 nights (given that I would get 3 packs of 8). Then I would have something alternating. Fish, schnitzels, steak, quiche, curried chicken, etc. These alternatives would make up 25% of the fortnightly meals.

To answer your question, I grew up on having sausages and vegetables for dinner most nights of the week. It was cheap and easy to make. We usually did not have a great deal of time to prepare much else, although Mum was pretty good at variety. Dad took until he was about 40 before he varied the meals.

I was watching a show last night where this guy travelled to an Italian restaurant along the Amalfi coast I think it was… he had zucchini pasta and said it changed his life!
So I searched and found the recipe … that’s on my “to cook” list soon.

Here it is! Amazing simple few ingredients and vegetarian.

Another 1.8 kg slab of cow sliding down Gordon's gullet?

The only fly Gordon is capable of swatting is the one in his trousers.

Gordon, clean yourself, zip up, and then piss off. This is a family BBS.

Family Gordon is Islander?

Gordon and associates emptied the buffet?

Is Gordon's post an entry in the LJ prize contest?
