The star of tonight was lentil soup with a nice dob of buffalo ricotta

Nice!  A Sri Lankan neighbour of my ex's insisted on showing me how she cooks lentils.  They are the nicest lentils I have ever had in my life.  She uses curry leaves and very mild chillies (little round ones) that she grows out back.

I'm going to have to make a trip to the Indian/Sri Lankan grocery store and get the other ingredients she uses.

I made another curried sausages dinner for tonight and leftovers for tomorrow night. This time, I added some boiled cabbage to the mix. The cabbage was going to spoil in a few days. It was best to use it up instead of letting the cabbage go to waste. But, it made the meal so much better.

I forgot to add the almonds and peas to make it more interesting. Had to boil up some together before I add them to the reheated meal. This is going to be a great meal.
