thats a very good price

I got this box set a couple of years back for about $40 . I don't use them very often but so far they've been great when I have used them. The clamp and sharpening stone I've yet to use but I will use it this weekend as I used the chisel a fair bit this week installing new doors and I need to sharpen two of them

...

Note. The photo is one i found online with the same set

Whatever you do.
Don't buy that ALDI  plastic all in one sharpener for chisels and other things like scissors.
Absolute s*hit as the device can NOT give an even edge due to too much movement.
Some guy bought one and got me to use it test drive.
Told him, sorry - but its 'crap'.

What pisses me off is all these Chinese-made hand tools—like DeWalt—
flooding our market.

I bought a set of 'Stanley' Australian-made wood chisels around 55 years
ago, and they're still going strong.   Will these Chinese tools last that long?

Generally I have found you cannot buy good 'cutting/grinding/sharpening/drilling' tools cheaply.

They have to made from good harder-than-normal steel, that costs more than softer metal.

So, stuff from Aldis will probably not work.
Drill bits made by 'Sutton' will work.

'Stanley' tools were and are good quality.

DeWalt are one of the named brands. I'ld happily have either brand

It's a honing guide.  The roller runs across the surface of your stone. To set the angle
of hone, you clamp the chisel or plane blade at a different position in the clamps.  The
longer the extension - the flatter the angle, and vice versa.

NASA lost a tool bag in space. You can see it with binoculars.
Astronauts were performing updates on the International Space Station when they lost their grip on a bag of tools.
