Every time I see the back of a very slow caravan with "Victoria - The Place to be" here in Queensland,  I say "I agree - so why aren't you there?"

Ok. That's not fair. Victorians have every right to slow down progress and  cause accidents in Queensland, even if they do leave the State with the same $20 note in their wallets as when they entered.

My son had some of his training at Amberley Air Base this year. He said Quenslanders a bit more brusque than Sydneysiders.
I know what he meant.... Tongue Tongue

Still anticipating less wet and and more warmer weather to bother going away more weekends.
But now… with DLS starting this Sunday….maybe that extra hour sunlight might warm the place up a bit  Grin Cool

So much for anticipating less wet… after watching Bathurst and all that rain…. We were going to go to Corrimal Beach midweek and over the weekend…. I said to hubby why bother travelling in the rain and flooded roads and it’s not even warm.
So we decided against going.
Melbourne had some huge flooding in past few days too!

And now… having driven between country and beach via car only…..the excessive rain has created a lot of pot holes and sink holes… not tiny by size at all.
Dodgems is the new way to drive now it seems.
I would hate to think how bad all other roads are if anyone travels with caravan on tow.

And we haven’t seen any corrective road works anywhere!
Where are they all?  Sad
