Is this a brief for a contract?

It sure sounds like it.

If so then I'm more than happy to discuss my fee.

1. You've made the claim that the ARM has not defined an alternative, which they have.

2. And you suggested the French model as a template (needing changes and amendments) without suggesting what those changes and amendments should be.

3. You've suggested there should be 2 model alternatives. What 2 models do you propose?

1. I didn't say that.

2. I've answered that.

3. I've answered that.

Are you bothering to read my posts in their entirety? No.

1. You wrote that the ARM has not proposed an alternative. It has.

2. You have made no suggestions about adaptation to the French model.

3. You have not suggested the 2 models you would propose.

3. I've also addressed that.

No!

None of that is true!

You're not reading anything I've posted to you. In its entirety. And that's why you're stuck in the vortex of asking me the same questions despite my previous responses.

You're tunnel visioned.

You're no doubt a Monarchist. And you are trying to see faults in my posts which aren't there.

I'm very careful with HOW I write stuff like this.

You've not realised this. Yet.

Whilst here....who were you before your Meister ID?

Again

2. You have made no suggestions about adaptation to the French model.

3. You have not suggested the 2 models you would propose.

4. You have not elaborated on your KISS approach.

I am not a monarchist and neither a reactionary against a system (flawed as it may be by anachronism).

My real name is not Meister.

Ah. I know who you are now.

Whenever I engage someone like you it's usually done so as to get an idea of who you were previously. That's all.

Now. Re 1.

Let's look at that M.

Prove your recurring but false claim regarding what you think I've stated.

Your quote above.

The ARM has clearly explained what they are proposing and why.

Hello M?

Are you struggling to find my post?

My post

To date the Republic movement hasn't had the resolve to pull their finger out and offer workable alternatives so as to engage the Australian community as a whole

VS

Your post

You wrote that the ARM has not proposed an alternative. It has.

^^^ Now tell me IF these 2 posts are saying the same thing. In your mind.

Actually .... I'll throw that same question out to anyone else who's in this topic.

To complete your own paragraph with your own words:

The ARM has made its proposal very clear and why it has made it.

There. The bit I excluded actually refers to the section I did include. In effect strengthening my argument.

Now we have the full context (which funnily enough has totally functioned to prove that you're full of shyte irrespective of the id you come through with).

Now if I were you I'd take on board some of my words to you. In particular the fact that you refuse to read posts in their entirety and the fact that you like to pick and choose the bits you find convenient. When fools like you do this ...you leave yourself open to ridicule from other Gen X posters who are a little older than you and have more life experience than you and can see that your lack of context is making you post rubbish.

That's all.

That's all.

The ARM studied five models and decided on proposing one.

Can you name them?

Actually, prior to that, they must come up with a proposal that is an improvement on the current system. Otherwise they are just wasting everyone's time.

Quote:
Actually, the ARM has made it very clear what their proposed model is and why.

Their currently proposed model is ridiculous. That's why no-one has even attempted to defend it on it's merit in this thread. The closest we have is a republican saying it is better "by definition".

That is not what Lisa actually said. Sure there are plenty of crap proposals around.

OK.

And what concerns me about The ARM choice is (as mentioned before):

It referred to the removal of the Head of State, specifically when:
(b) a motion is passed by both Houses of the Parliament in the same session for removal of the Head of State on the ground of proved misbehaviour or incapacity;

The question is, would it be impeachable (as misbehaviour) to be a lippy media whore such that the HOS could use media and popularity to undermine the HOG or parliament?

I doubt that would ever happen. The HOS would end up being either the PM or the leader of the opposition.
