Others here have already set the precedent: if the target has committed an illegal act, the law simply doesn't apply.

Those being deported, unlawfully, are denied due process because they're deemed "illegal", as though that status erases their rights entirely.

By that logic, those carrying out these unlawful deportations have themselves forfeited any claim to legal protections. They too, have broken the law.

You can't have it both ways. Either people who've committed so-called "illegal acts" retain their rights under the law, or they don't.

You don't get to cherry-pick whose humanity and legal standing count based on your politics or prejudices.

It's all or nothing.
