Overheard a conversation about getting vaxxed today...

'Sam': 'How come you won't get vaxxed, but you smoke?'
'Dave': 'Well, we know smoking is bad for the health, but no one can say for sure if the vaxx is safe'.

I thought, Yepp... Just like 'Sam' and 'Dave' at Ozpol.

overheard in a conversation at pfizer HQ.

"isnt it great that there are so many fat lazy feckers out there. all those diabetics and obese people,

we get to sell them lipitor the worlds number 1 cholesterol tablet.

and all those fatties cant get it up, so we get to sell them viagra, our most profitable drug

and now all those fat diabetic steve and janeens are going to need 6 monthly jabs because they are so damn unfit.

thank you steve and janeen .

we must continue our share swap deals with kellogs, coca cola and mcdonalds.

and thank god all those pesky gyms and small healthy resturants were demolished thanks to our political mates.  they were a thorn in our side and a drain on profits

Well... I really did overhear that conversation. I'm guessing you weren't at Pfizer Central, cleaning the toilets, and overheard two executives having a conversation while taking a piss.

But, to your point, every vitamin manufacturer also preys on the fat and the hypochondriac... Then there's the internet 'doctor' promoting a secret diet to cure all that ails them... And the self-help guru feeding off the neurotics obsessive fears of inadequacy... et cetera, et cetera, et cetera...

the poms are very unhealthy.

they dont get much sun for vitamin d.
they eat rubbish food
they should try to be more swedish.

and , yes, bobby, a vaccine is good but a healthy lifestyle is better

It's not "better".

It's a vital part of the puzzle, but the body needs a defence against the virus no matter how healthy.

I knew this would happen after Britain opened up and 'let it rip'.

Same thing is about to happen here.

Victoria yesterday: 2232 cases and 12 deaths (and they're about to open up).

New South Wales yesterday: 372 cases and 1 death (cases starting to go up again after Dominic's 'let it rip' decision on October 11th).

This is the inevitable result of governments caving in to big business with their money is more important than peoples' lives attitude.

Its only going to get much worse from here on.

I read somewhere the other day that apparently this is the first time that vaccines are being used in an attempt to bring a pandemic under control.

Up until now, vaccines have always been used to prepare populations for a potential pandemic and hopefully prevent it.

Can't find the source again at the moment but if that's true then what we're trying to do with stopping Covid is an 'experiment' that doesn't appear to be working too well so far.

But... again... please get vaccinated if you haven't already. Its the best hope we have right now.

Vaccinating the uninfected population IS a preventative measure, not a curative.
