There’s another factor at work here. An insane aspect of political correctness tells us we must never criticise any religious belief system. Islam isn’t the only theology let off the hook by such idiocy. Take for instance the monstrous frequency of child sex abuse by various Christian  denominations. We are permitted to criticise individual perpetrators and church authorities for covering up such evil BUT political correctness tells us we must avoid asking pertinent questions about the fundamental belief system that attracts pedophiles. A religion that worships a father torturing almost naked his son on the cross ( who is actually part of himself if you swallow trinitarian gobbledygook) supposedly redeeming sins (through ‘omniscience' knowingly ) he made possible. Expose the young to the associated imigary and the sickness is amplified.
