Good fallback position. "I was wrong, but I fixed it" type of comment. Wink

So tell us what you think of St Mark and the change to state parliament so that the Upper House is no longer a house of review but a rubber stamp. It would be just as easy as making the parliament unicameral.

But of course once he controls the Upper House all things are possible.

Are you talking about the law that was passed that now means WA has a one vote one value system?

The one that wasn't being considered by St Mark before the election.

Strange how some people agree with the Australian Parliament Upper House having a weighted voting system but deny the same to rural voters in WA.

We have already seen what Labor tried to do to rural people -

Close Moora Residential College

Close the School of the Air

But everyone knows the rural areas are all rich cockies and can afford to send their kids to Guildford Grammar, Hale etc. /sarc

A house of review, eh? A house where a candidate can get 60 votes and find himself elected to the WA Upper House.

Animal house, more like.

Keating's 'unrepresentative swill'.

I agree with your sentiments but the issue of vote harvesting had a much simpler solution.

Oh, like how the WA Upper House was usually a rubber stamp for Liberal governments? That kind of rubber stamp?
