China has 40 times the population of Oz; and the world's most extensive HS rail network.

Just read the the US are removing Chinese-made trains from service due to their poor construction and safety record.

Certainly the CCP didn't realize the adoption of free markets has a downside, especially when houses are employed as investment vehicles. The CCP is dealing with that now.

Yeah, sure they didn't!

Making money hand-over-fist without restrictions on corruption. Nobody told the CCP, eh. And never mind that is was CCP prostitutes who were/are the ones making the most money from corruption and kickbacks.

No. It's satire.

How aware are the Chinese people of the Chinese real estate pyramid scam, I wonder.

Very,  they have just suffered the Evergrande collapse which badly affected many middle class investors.
Fortunately the CCP was able to contain the damage, unlike the US whose 'subprime' disaster brought down the entire global economy. (GFC).

Quote:
Apparently, it is illegal to receive information about the covid situation outside China from foreign sources as the CCP are pushing the line that the world is collapsing and only China is still standing. Those who do receive information from outside are warned to delete any messages received and not forward it on.

China wants to avoid India's fate; China is not rich enough to provide hospital treatment for their vast population.

No doubt the Great Pyramid Scam is unknown to the Chinese people.

Surely you know about the Evergrande collapse?

A common rejigged ending to movies shown in China: 'Fortunately the CCP was able to contain the damage'; like 'Fight Club' where, instead of the movie ending as originally shot, in China the CCP cut the ending off with a message 'Fortunately the police were able to figure out the plan and the culprits were all arrested and punished'.

'unlike the US...'! The CCP and its prostitutes - always comparing itself to the US. Inferiority complex much?

By lying to the people on a gargantuan scale. Very convenient that it's only the CCP that benefits from these lies, not the people; avoiding uncomfortable truths, like the CCP-made vaccines were ineffective.

It's a laugh to watch those set up shots of 'big whites' disinfecting streets, parks and sides of buildings with spray guns, while the rest of the world is well aware that the virus does not survive in streets, parks and sides of buildings.

No one is allowed to question what that much disinfectant will do once it's in the local water system.

All done to dupe the people into thinking the CCP is onto it.

Lies and deception are the CCP's only 'talents'.

As does the world outside China.

What's certain is that the Chinese people would be unaware of how serious the CCP's Great Pyramid Scam really is.

Similar in ignorance to eastern Europeans and Russians after the collapse of the Soviet Union - what was long known to the rest of the world for decades was a sudden revelation to them.

You suffering from memory loss - or just ideological blindness?

A couple of posts back I addressed the point:

"....they have just suffered the Evergrande collapse which badly affected many middle class investors."

What no-one in China from the CCP down knew about, is the possibility of market failure in dysfunctional "invisible hand" free markets. Even Xi has had to learn: "houses are for living in ", not for investment vehicles.

Meanwhile greedy Oz investors (who rejected Labor's sensible negative gearing reforms in 2019)  refuse to learn, thereby supporting the biggest property bubble in the world while homelessness and unaffordable rents are a growing problem.

The CCP is well aware of past mistakes and has no intention of repeating them; it has too many other tasks in advancing the nation's well-being, rather than teaching past mistakes to the present generation.

All of this is bullshit.  I've travelled through china.  There was lots of food and the lights worked.

That's great for the Chinese people, though I here the lights have stopped working since the CCP decided to punish Australia by not buying our coal.

Which part do you think is BS?

The words, LOL

Any words in particular?

Are you saying that China's power blackouts are not real because the lights were on once when you visited?

And what about the famine, caused by CCP lies and incompetence, that killed millions of Chinese people?

My god this is tiresome bullshit.  Mistakes made in 1950 don't define China today

Sure they do. They have shaped the CCP, which is why the CCP is repeating the exact same mistakes today, and is continuing to kill millions of people through their lies and incompetence. These mistakes have been ingrained into the culture of the ruling institution.

Your argument is no less idiotic than saying we should let the Nazis rule because it has been a while since they last got to kill millions of people.

People actually sympathise with the Nazis because of the growing anti-white feeling around the world coming to the attention of Europeans and other caucasian majority societies. They, however, do not want to see millions of people dead.

I don't think the CCP wanted to kill millions of Chinese people either. It was just incompetence on a massive scale.

Military/Politics/Religion will always be incompetent in the hands of men in Africa, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

...unlike in Sahul, Nth America, Sth America and Middle-East.

That's why the CCP will ultimately fail.

Facts about hunger in America

  1.    According to the USDA, more than 38 million people, including 12 million children, in the United States are food insecure.
  2.     The pandemic has increased food insecurity among families with children and communities of color, who already faced hunger at much higher rates before the pandemic.
  3.     Every community in the country is home to families who face hunger. But rural communities are especially hard hit by hunger.
  4.    Many households that experience food insecurity do not qualify for federal nutrition programs and visit their local food banks and other food programs for extra support.
