To be fair, she said her reason for going was Islam, Islam is the reason she did what she did. To be allowed back, renouncing what drove her, would be mandatory. Then there is the question of the 3 kids, would she leave them?

The Islamic state didn't do anything different from what Profit Muhammad did.

If they renounce anything the Islamic state did they would be renouncing what Muhammad did which aint gonna happen.
