I have been absent due to the fact that there is very little content in ozpolitic that interests me- now with cods gone and mantra etc just not coming here anymore the interest is even less- Lisa is back and that is joyful-

The spaces taken up by Aussie also the toy dog make that likliehood even harder to entice anyone- Aussie knows I hate him but I do not hate Monk in the same way but Aussie has gotten to him- it does not matter anymore for me- he is the one who misses out- plus it seems that he is settled into that place now-

Neferti is also an old favourite (( that will shock her I'm sure)) but we will never be friends so it does not matter anymore in any way that matters to me

I handed the tavern over to AiA- and he has done well with it- i was under the impression that he might get sick of it pretty quickly but he never did so its all good for the Tavern these days!!

AiA is doing a good job here!!

Aussie might be gone soon- lets hope so!!!

Then Monk might open his eyes again-

Agnes gave me a good idea. Hence why I handed over Travel to Lols who I could straight away see would offer the Board more than what I could deliver at the time. A lot of members now enjoy that Board with Lols as Mod more than they could if I was still Mod.
I can see Agnes's motivation for the hand-over. Win for her and Win for AiA - who has done well with it, in my view.

I did run (on request from other members) for Cats & Critters as Mod (to stop hobo monk from getting it) - but I didn't really have my sincere interest in Modding it and with just x1 vote the difference and x1 minute left, I cast my own vote in favour of Monk, like letting Gollum have that 'Ring' right at the edge of the cliff. The guy had no real interest in cute fluffy animals - but he seemed obsessed beyond belief for the power of winning a Board on (to quote him) FD's "Crap" forum. Roll Eyes

I did try on behalf of other Members and I am sorry I couldn't win it for them even though I PM'd over 50 Members (active, no longer seen for years) in my effort.
Now its a Board like they said it will be like - nothing about furry friends, just a spring board for Monk to post attacks on this Forum and other non-C&C topics. He even immediately went back on all his so-called 'promises' of how he would run the Board, if he got people's votes. It's a shame to see people get ahead on deceiving others.

Agnes will be ok. She just needs a good root that's all.
