Did you listen to David Fuller express his exasperation at Bret Weinstein for not doing what, as a scientist, he should do, and discuss counter-narratives to the ivermectin scam. Bret (and his wife, Heather) refused to discuss ivermectin with anyone other than pro-ivermectin spruikers.

This included discussing the subject with his friend, David Fuller, to dig deeper than just discussing pro-ivermectin quackery.

For Eric (who has previously been fiercely and uncompromisingly loyal to his brother) to even mildly criticise him is significant.

Listen to the actual conversation with Eric. Aside from what he said about his brother his comments on the pandemic in general are brilliant.

Yes. I listened to the Rebel Wisdom episode months ago.

Yes, Eric is an insightful and highly credible scientist and commentator.

It's clear Eric is deeply torn between his commitment to science and defence of Bret. He 'recuses himself' (his words) regarding his comments on ivermectin as he is unable to loosen the bonds between himself and his brother. Unfortunately, this leads Eric to deflect the controversy surrounding Bret towards leadership in general (with a heap-and-helping of whataboutism).

Whether that's true or not (let's say it is)... It's becoming evident that antibodies wane quickly over time, meaning they could easily contract a second infection.

I also used to watch Joe Rogan when he used to interview people of intellectual integrity (e.g. Brian Cox, Jordan Peterson, Paul Stamets, even Richard Dawkins)... Now, not so much.

He has done everything he can, to develop the subtext that he is an ant-vaxxer, and now he's in the situation he's in. His comedian friend Bill Maher caught COVID after being vaccinated and went through it with no symptoms.

Rogan was also once an alien-landing conspiracy theorist which, by his own admission, took him years to get over.

So Joe was capable of changing his mind

Something I doubt that North Pole and captain kangaroo could ever do Grin

If the evidence changes, so does my opinions.

You change the goalposts or pretend you had a different opinion in the past or never claimed xyz, there is a difference friend.

Just to put the ivermectin scam into perspective: poison control calls from people who have overdosed on ivermectin have massively increased over the last 3 months as have hospital admissions for ivermectin overdose.

Symptoms of ivermectin overdose include: gastrointestinal symptoms, like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea; also neurological effects such as: ataxia, blurred vision, hallucinations and slurred speech.

This moron Rogan says that if you're fit and healthy and eat good food, you don't need a vaccine.

Strangely though, if you're fit and healthy and eat good food and get COVID you have to "throw the kitchen sink at it".

i.e. monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-pak (zithromax), prednisone, an NAD drip and a vitamin drip.
