This is great -
nitro, top fuel racing -
you will see lots of races without having to wait 3 minutes between each race -
they go one after another.
Nothing can replace seeing it live.
The last time I saw it was in the 1980s and I will never forget it
even though it was a 1/4 mile or 1320 foot track
and not the shorter 1000 foot track they use today.
Even though the track is shorter they go up to 100mph faster than they did in the 1980s.
Speeds of over 320 mph are normal now.
They reach 100mph in only 0.8 seconds!
The track is shorter at 1000 feet as they would go too fast otherwise and:
not be able to stop or
the tyres would blow to pieces.
