Yeah, oh christianity is wunnerful:
Quote:23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the Lord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2%20Kings%202%3A23-24&version=NIVThat should be a verse that shows how evil the JudeoChristian religion is.
Parts of it are evil but to assert the entire theology is ‘evil’ is going more than a bit too far.
The central problem’s origin is the absurd claim the Bible and its entire contents are ’the
Word of God’ when in fact the entire document is a mishmash of human invention. Some of it may have a foundation in actual historical events but a lot of it is superstitious myth; no more than wishful thinking, some portions possibly a form of delusion at work described as ‘religious experience'. We shouldn't ignore the powerful effects of so called religious experience/revelation though.
The Bible itself contains passages which can be read as warning signs in the context. "
Thus saith the Lord; Woe unto foolish propehts, that follow their own spirit and have seen nothing Ezekial Ch 13 : V 3.
Question is, who decides which passages are ‘for real’ and which not?
