BNut hey, look the actual restrictions took me all of 5 seconds to find.

Restaurants pubs etc  for takeaway only, no dine in.

Its the same as at the previous lockdown.

Stop being so lazy, stop whining and read.

Can I dine in at a restaurant or cafe?

Restaurants, pubs and cafes will be able to resume trade from Wednesday 27 July. Capacity limits will be in place for those venues.

Dan never said that -
it's not on the official site:

Necessary goods and services include supermarkets, pharmacies, butchers, bottle shops, petrol stations, post offices, banks, food stores, newsagents, liquor stores, and pet stores. Supermarkets will continue to stay open to allow people to buy food, so there is no need to stock up on groceries. Other retail shops will only be available for delivery or contactless click and collect, and workers may attend onsite to facilitate these orders.
Cafes and restaurants will only be able to offer take-away and delivery services.

It actually is on the site.

We are still in our 5th lockdown - just rules eased
but I still can't visit my friends.
Within one month we'll be on our 6th lockdown - it will go on forever
as the vaccines will no longer be effective one year from now.
Reichsmarschall Dan Andrews is still in power.

Dan has spoken.
He says the lockdown is over at midnight but it's still on:

no visitors to homes for  2 more weeks -
masks still to be worn inside and outside.

what about pubs and clubs? - will they open?
he talks too much poo.

as if you really care?

You'd have to get out from hiding under your bed to find out, but I'm going to bet that won't happen.

You should send Dan a handwritten thank you card goober. He could have been an idiot and taken gladys' approach, but lucky for you he cares more about the people of Victoria than the businesses in Vict..

Bobby is getting jabbed in the muscle this weekend.

He's also gonna get vaccinated for COVID.

If it takes TEN lockdowns
TEN lockdowns it will be

If you want to visit your "friends" - arrange a picnic in a park, somewhere
This is within the current regulations

As for the Andrews Government, it's doing a faster - and more thorough - job of eradicating the NSW variant, than the Berejiklian Government has done

I quite like Berejiklian
But she has acted on the advice of political strategists, with the next State Election in mind - and look how THAT turned out
Andrews has ALWAYS acted on the best advice from the most qualified experts in the field - with the health and lives of all Victorians as the number one priority

COVID-19 breaking news:
Victoria records six new local cases;

10:20am Jul 29, 2021

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-05-26/victorian-covid-outbreak-melbourne-epping...

...

Victoria has recorded another six local COVID-19 cases, bringing the cluster in Melbourne's north to 15.
Key points:

All of the new cases are close contacts of cases already identified in the City of Whittlesea cluster
Acting Premier James Merlino said he couldn't rule out more restrictions in response to the outbreak
Contact tracers have identified 301 primary close contacts, 80 of whom had so far returned negative results

The Department of Health had reported 10 new local cases on Tuesday, and Acting Premier James Merlino revealed another case had been identified on Wednesday morning.

Mr Merlino said all of the new cases were close contacts of the cases that have already been identified as part of the City of Whittlesea cluster.

"It's good that everyone is linked at this stage, but we are concerned about the number and also about the kind of exposure sites and the next 24 hours are going to be critical," he said.

Mr Merlino said he could not rule out further restrictions in response to the outbreak.

"I want to be upfront with everyone this morning, I cannot rule out taking some further action but we'll update people as soon as we know."
