Illegal immigration is a bad thing, whichever way it is branded. South Americans shouldn't invade North America, Africans and Arabs, Persians, Indians shouldn't invade Europe, Arabs, Persians, Chinese, Asians shouldn't invade Australia. But they do. Why can't national cultures flourish in their own patch of the Earth? Why must every place be like every other place? If Japan is not for the Japanese - where then? Swedes, Italians, Australians, Greeks, English etc. Why must they include everyone from everywhere? I travelled a lot in my youth and the point was that places and people were different. Italy was not like Spain or Belgium. If European expansion in the 17-19th century was bad then third world expansion now is at least as bad. Except that the third world is not bringing anything good and civilising with it now. Only degradation and third worlderiness. Guatemalans do not improve America, Africans and Arabs do not improve Europe. There definitely seems to be a hidden agenda behind multiculturalism. Recall Bob Hawke said in the 80s that the immigration debate must be kept bipartisan, that the public were not to be consulted. Everywhere you went in Sydney in the 80s you'd see graffiti saying, "Asian Immigration - who asked you?" I remember other signs/graffiti in Perth in the latter '70s, "Asians out!" Not very welcoming considering there were already Asians living amongst us like Jacky Sue... That was right-wing terrorist/white supremacist/neo-Nazi Jack van Tongren. He and his fellow Nazis plastered every lamp post along Stirling Hwy with "No Asians" posters. He blew up my local Chinese restaurant, and I narrowly avoided being killed by him. Strangely enough, I ended up going out with one of his Nazi girls - I didn't find out until a few months after we'd been together. He was a particularly nasty and dangerous terrorist, and he was responsible for at least 20 terrorist attacks in Perth. Tell that to the conservatives in her though, and they'll say it never happened. "No such thing as right-wing terrorism". Yeah, I know who he is but I don't know if I'd attribute every graffiti to him though. Set fire would be more correct than "blew up". You probably should not have been living under the counter. Just as well you didn't say "white supremacist" as he was part Asian. Warped mind, that one.
