I got the AstraZeneca jab on Friday 2 days ago -  2.7.21

I had the shakes 12 hours later and a mild temperature of 37.7
plus a headache.
I'm much better today but still not perfect.

And then there's the time at the Ozpol xmas party when you were doing up your shoelace and Monk lined you up and jabbed you from behind.  Not sure why you didn't struggle, much.

First AstraZeneca 'jab' - 17th June.
Second one booked for 13th September.

Had a bit of a sore arm for 4 or 5 days and a slight sore throat and the 'sniffles' for a few days about a week after the 'jab' (might not have been related).

Other than that, no problems so far.

Yes c'mon Australia lets get that herd immunity up, i will be getting my jabs when i can overcome my trypanophobia, some government funding for support groups wouldn't go astray or just a financial incentive might suffice.

Oh, that would be difficult. I am hearing you.

I had clammy palms when queueing up.
The nurse said 'you are very tense, relax.'
I turn my head away, I don't look.

Oh, someone later said to 'hang your shoulder low.'
Also, get it in the arm you do NOT sleep on.

At my mass vax site:
A woman who was about 50 to 60 years old was
crying like a baby during & after her injection.
They had to get her tissues for all the tears and comfort her.

I hardly felt mine.
Did they strike a nerve in her arm?

Another woman had a panic attack and had to leave before her injection.

Had my first shot on 23-6 - and yes, it was the AZ variant.

I did feel some tiredness later that day, which the Doc said was
a possibility, and my arm had a low-intensity itch at the injection
site for several days, but that was the sum total of my reaction
to the shot.

Second shot booked for early September.

And they jab it in a long way, what if they hit the arm bone and the needle breaks off, where did they find all of these thousands of jabbers!

I dunno - the nurse who jabbed me was pretty good -
only the mildest half second sting and
I didn't feel anything more.
