Yes, but still claims to be a veteran, dont know if you notice but the trend these days if you wore a uniform no matter what or where you served is to call yourself a veteran. the Yanks started it now everyone claims to be a "vet". That is the extent of his combat experience. I would be satisfied that Brian has sufficient reserve army training. But, actual combat experience to qualify as a veteran, I do not believe that Brian qualifies for that.

The guy dressing up as a 6-year-old girl is just another in a long line of people that have to go on television and explain themselves to the public about their mental disorders. I would not be surprised if the act is a cover to mitigate or exonerate any child abuse they perpetrate. I will not say that the guy is an automatic child abuser. But, he seems very much determined to make a name for himself as being in a fantasy world.

I think the implication is that he is mentally disordered enough that I would not want him near any children. Perhaps my gay son would have loved to invite him around for "tea" and biscuits many times.
