People are still floating the idea of COVID 19 being a biological weapon? Well, then those people have no idea about biological warfare. And here are the reasons:
1. Virus are generally harder to manufacture than bacteria. Which is why baterias like anthrax are used.
2. Stability - espcially in the air, is a key ingredient. However, COVID 19 fails miserable. Yes, it is good in indoors, but it appear not to survive well outdoors, especially in sunlight.
3. High rate of mortality: right now, the COVID 19 virus has some 80% of cases with asymptomatic, and mild symptoms. A mortality of 5%, it is a fail for biological weapon standard.
4. Protection of user of bioweapon - it is not good if your weapon backfires, and force yourself to close cities, causing immense damage to your own economy. This was seen with China. And until now, they are still developing their vaccines.
5. Threat of use - in the art of war. One do not just use a weapon for the sake of it, more often its the threat of using it that is being utilized - e.g. nuclear weapons. Right now, the COVID 19 is so readily available, you can no longer utilize that threat anymore.
COVID 19 is a poor candidate for biological weapon. And the Chinese is not stupid enough to release it on their own population for the sake of infecting the world. Remember, Xi wanted to be Emperor for life in a prosperous China, not a sick China. He and his fellow power brokers in the CPC have families and assets tugged away in all parts of the world (including USA). They may be totalitarian, but they are not stupid.
At last some clear thinking about COVID19 as a bioweapon!
The 1919 Spanish Flu pandemic arose from a wet market in the US, likely in Arkansas.
