what does it matter anymore where it started   as long as the danger is past.......perhaps if we stopped the finger pointing    after all the horse has bolted...and got on with cleaning up the mess its left and making sure it never happens again.....and that means making every country responsible  making them accountable.....

we know a lot more than we did 12 months ago....lets hope we put it to good use.

It matters very much how it started, cods. You think COVID19 is the very last pandemic that will arise?

People are still floating the idea of COVID 19 being a biological weapon?  Well, then those people have no idea about biological warfare.  And here are the reasons:
1. Virus are generally harder to manufacture than bacteria.  Which is why baterias like anthrax are used.
2. Stability - espcially in the air, is a key ingredient.  However, COVID 19 fails miserable.  Yes, it is good in indoors, but it appear not to survive well outdoors, especially in sunlight.
3. High rate of mortality: right now, the COVID 19 virus has some 80% of cases with asymptomatic, and mild symptoms.  A mortality of 5%, it is a fail for biological weapon standard.
4. Protection of user of bioweapon - it is not good if your weapon backfires, and force yourself to close cities, causing immense damage to your own economy.  This was seen with China.  And until now, they are still developing their vaccines.
5. Threat of use - in the art of war.  One do not just use a weapon for the sake of it, more often its the threat of using it that is being utilized - e.g. nuclear weapons.  Right now, the COVID 19 is so readily available, you can no longer utilize that threat anymore.

COVID 19 is a poor candidate for biological weapon.  And the Chinese is not stupid enough to release it on their own population for the sake of infecting the world.  Remember, Xi wanted to be Emperor for life in a prosperous China, not a sick China.   He and his fellow power brokers in the CPC have families and assets tugged away in all parts of the world (including USA).   They may be totalitarian, but they are not stupid.

At last some clear thinking about COVID19 as a bioweapon!

The 1919 Spanish Flu pandemic arose from a wet market in the US, likely in Arkansas.

The first 14 or so people to come into the Wuhan hospital were not from the wet market or didn't go to the wet market or had nothing to do with the wet market.

After the first 14 people arrived in the hospital with pneumonia who had nothing to do with the wet market then people who had been to the wet market started coming in with the same symptoms.

I can sense apologists for the CCP.

28 pages of overwhelming evidence that it is a bio weapon:

That crap is not evidence Booby. Sad Kangaroo made that very clear.

The WHO report is based on real science, thousands of swabs of the animals/carcases for sale, the ground, walls, doors etc etc around that market.

Tickleandrose showed pretty clearly COVID19 is so useless as a bioweapon it clearly is not one, however much, for whatever reason, you want to be one. Wants are not evidence.

You think that makes a difference, Ajax? People from the market could have infected that 14.

If you are getting that info from that video I would discount it completely—you can say anything you like in a video.

From same article cited in the OP:

Quote:
“We could show the virus was circulating in the market as early as December 2019,” says the WHO’s Peter Ben Embarek, who co-led the investigation. He adds that this investigation is far from the last. “A lot of good leads were suggested in this report, and we anticipate that many, if not all of them, will be followed through because we owe it to the world to understand what happened, why and how to prevent it from happening again.”

Not a very definitive timeline.

Some common sense.

And even of it turns out that it didn't come from a wet market, that doesn't automatically mean it's a Chinese biological weapon.

But does what you have written mean that you're
a fan of this book?

...

And Monk as well.

I have read parts of that book, Booby. I have also read parts of Mein Kampf and novels etc by Ayn Rand and George Orwell.

You truly are an idiot, aren’t you, to be equating common sense with communism.

Why don’t you show how accepting a commonsense argument equates to being a communist?
