Yeah, nah. They've already tried to have the pants scared off me with nuclear war as a kid. I'm not too afraid of how things are with c19. I remember saying if this gained a foothold outside of China it was all over, another endemic virus our bodies have to learn to deal with or fail us. That is what has come about. That vaccinations and lock downs have helped in the transition to the fact this is forever, via lessening the impact and deaths, this is good and is excellent data on how to handle the next one.

What I will find interesting in the future is all the doom sayers and antivaxers having old posts dragged up. Getting too into an arguement can have lasting effects. EG. Gregg being an antivaxer a few years ago.

It was certainly not nothing and I would not concur that this is even comparable... Even if the death rate was comparable, it's not man against man, the circumstances, I'm sure you would agree, are not anywhere in the same cricket field.

Actually - I read somewhere that more people died of disease in WW2
than from bombs or bullets.

WW2 death toll 55 million.

Covid death toll 5 million - so far.

And that, imo, is the reason, why all good men should welcome, encourage and defend,
