I went to a High School in Mt Druitt for about a year before moving on. They didn't just burn books there. But when the song Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd came out - they burned down the entire School Library.

The only education one got there was how to punch on with guys from year 10 up, in your first year (7).

Just a reminder that the entire OP of this thread is completely wrong.

There is no "book burning" of Dr Seuss books, there was no involvement of the Biden administration or any Government body/legislation, and the community concern started under Trump around these particular books that the private company who owns the right to Dr Seuss have decided to take out of production.

This thread is just an example of how your average conservative has gone from the hardline notion of "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" to "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" and crying like a bunch of little bitched, while through the sobs and tears claiming to be the victims of political correctness gone wild when this was a market choice.

Conservatives talk big about how out of control victimhood is when they're the biggest offenders... How far you've fallen.

Parents and teachers were concerned about the racial stereotypes in these particular titles and stopped buying them. It didn't make sense even from a PR point of view, let alone supply and demand, to keep these particular titles in circulation, so they've stopped publishing them.

The free market has spoken.

Next you'll be having a sook that people didn't want to buy "The Art of the Deal" anymore so a lot of places don't stock it...
