Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Whatever the outcome, the donors are not going to be happy:

Quote:
Last August, New York State Attorney-General Letitia James sued to dissolve the NRA, alleging its leaders paid for family trips to the Bahamas, private jets and expensive meals that contributed to a $US64 million ($83 million) reduction in the NRA's balance sheet in three years, turning a surplus into a deficit.

The NRA responded by counter-suing Ms James in federal court, saying she had violated the NRA's right to free speech and seeking to block her investigation. The litigation remains pending.

bwian is very misguided.

in these increasingly polarising times, there is nothing "yippee" about cheering on the demise of the gun culture.

the USA loves their guns, more in 2021 then at any time in history.

and president metamucil may be urged on by certain urban elite leftie intellectual to try to "come after the guns" of "real americans".

that will be a step too far.

you will never ever ever get the 75 million trump supporters to say

'you know what, guns are bad, very bad, and we should hand them over to presient metamucil"

that is never ever ever going to happen.

and the consequences of trying to disarm americans in the current climate would be dire

if biden had any sense he would join the NRA and go to shooting ranges the way the nobel donald went to the golf course.....to show he is one of the people

"In August, New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit seeking to dissolve the NRA, amid an investigation it redirected $64 million away from its charitable mission for personal gain by top leaders."

Why would you want to live in a society where gun ownership is necessary? Wouldn't you prefer to live in a society where a person doesn't need to bear a firearm?

Surely, you would agree that the latter society is superior to the former?

Second Amendment - "The right to keep and bear arms"

America was built on that right.
