when my daughter worked for the AFp they trained many brought over from Iraq... in the way of running a Police Force....they were here for 10 weeks at a time....probably still doing it..

They will be mixing with out troops and ancillary staff etc all of which will come back into our population.

Some may disagree with me.....

I feel that Australia still owes the U.S.A. a debt [WWII].

The US and Australia have been great allies and that should continue.

However we should not be stupid. well over 500,000 Americans died of Covid and many Americans still treat the virus as if it does not really exist. Among this group will be some red necks who would be among the dumbest people in the world who have taken no precautions at all and who are happy to infect anyone and or everyone.

Hopefully everything will be ok but who really knows. It is a risk that we do not need to take.
