The Chinese are liars.
They must be forced to pay for the pandemic.
It starts with the United Nations.
Yes, but Trump and China have undermined the UN thoroughly.
The best way to hit back at Chinese gangster capitalism is through international co-operation in refusing to trade with the bastards. To continue ‘business as usual’ with these monsters is exactly equivalent of dealing with Hitler prior to the 2nd World War .
That and refusing to tolerate Chinese University students rampant political activity and spying on their own countrymen just as they do so efficiently in Australia.
The process has started in Europe where widespread advertisements have appeared urging the purchase of Australian wine and other goods as a form of protest.
There are so many ways the international community can hit back at these thugs.
An international fund to counter the Chinese ‘Belt and Roads’ effort would be another effective place to start what is essentially the first stage of a war. Hold on tight kiddies, it’s going to be a rough ride.
Meanwhile the planet burns with the Australian Liberal Party pretending it’s not happening. The human race is indeed insane.
there is a horse saying
'shut the gate after the horse has bolted'.
the average chap in western society is now fully conditioned to being a
'consumer'
its hard to produce, it requires effort, sweat, real resources, discipline,
to be a producer , you have to "embrace pain'
you have to "love it when its hard"
thats just not the mindset in the west anymore.
people just want to follow the path of least resistance
dont get me wrong.
they still want that pair of Nike Joggers.
they just dont want to have to make them
western governments have discovered that they can only get elected by "pandering" to these "entitled consumers".
you see it everywhere.
every single problem is now laid at the feet of some authority figure.
australia or the USA circa 1900 would have had a government position of
"solve your own bloody problems".
but 120 years later, the vast majority of people are completely stuck in
"learned helplessness"
and "infantalisation".
in all seriousness, if you dont trade with china and people dont have access to the goods of the consumer society, the vast majority of people will turn into little crybabies.
you are quite right that we shouldnt be totally reliant on china.
but it will be politically impossible to wean society off chinese goods.
the chinese know this
so we will be continuing to be tied to them til we develop a work ethic.
that would seem unlikely to ever happen.
