another missing wife.

husband the last to see her?????>..

The family of missing Sydney businesswoman Melissa Caddick has made a desperate plea for her to come home as mystery grows around her sudden disappearance.

There has been no trace of the 49-year-old since midnight last Thursday at her Dover Heights mansion in the Eastern Suburbs.

Her husband, Anthony Koletti, told police his wife went for a run at 5:30am.

She didn’t take her phone or wallet with her and police have been unable to find any trace of Mrs Caddick.

That includes reviewing CCTV cameras from around the Dover Heights area and land and air searches along the coastline.

In a press conference with Bondi police today, Mr Koletti described his wife as a “dedicated mother, beautiful daughter, sister and loving wife”.

“We are asking the community to help bring Melissa home. That is all,” he said.

“This is out of character. We just need the communities of Australia to come together to help bring her home.”

Mr Koletti said Ms Caddick always took her phone on her morning run but didn’t last Thursday.

Ms Caddick was embroiled in a legal battle with the corporate watchdog over her business, Maliver Pty Limited, in the lead up to her disappearance.

Last week the Federal Court made orders to prevent her from sending money offshore, selling property or withdrawing funds from 17 bank accounts.

he Australian Federal Police also executed a search warrant on her Wallangra Road two days before she disappeared in relation to the financial investigation.

Ms Caddick’s brother, Adam Grimley, said her disappearance was extremely out of character.

Her house is about a 20 min run to the gap but there's plenty of closers spots near her house to jump from.

Maybe she got sprung doing something shonky then jumped?

Two days before she vanished, Australian Federal Police (AFP) raided her Wallangra Road property as part of an ongoing investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

I read a bit more about this. Apparently the CCTV camera attached to their garage wasn't working on the morning she "left".  How convenient! The hubby looks a little guilty and what about the teenage son who heard the front door shut at 5.30 in the morning?  All very weird.

there was also no sign of her on other peoples CCTVs  so they dont actually have any evidence of her leaving the house.

More in the news this morning!

Quote:
The Whatsapp account of a missing Sydney businesswoman has mysteriously been accessed at least twice since she disappeared from her $7million cliffside mansion.

Mother-of-one Ms Caddick, 49, hasn't been seen since she disappeared from her Dover Heights home about 5.30am on November 12 - a fortnight ago.

A friend of Ms Caddick's has revealed her WhatsApp account linked to her phone number updated to say it had been 'last seen' at 1.44pm on Tuesday this week.

Before that, a 'last seen' alert popped up on the previous Thursday, at 10.02pm, according to screenshots supplied to Daily Mail Australia.

The NSW Police Force did not directly respond to questions about whether investigators or another party had accessed Ms Caddick's WhatsApp account.

Instead, a police spokeswoman urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.

You might find an increase in 'missing' wives, husbands, partners etc as times get tough and many just want to 'dissapear'.
