Scientists do not know the exact evolutionary reason for a panther’s dark coat, nor what causes it to be so rare.

I didn't really click with Dr Zeuss, as my Librarian Mrs Humpries in Primary, used it as an example to us kids as to what damage drugs can do to our brains.
She used to hand out books to us kids which she thought would be of importance to us individually to read. The Librarian Choice we called it. Afterall, they know books.
I think she gave me one on Prehistoric Animals and Life of Man. Pics of Pre-Cambrian to Mammoth Hunters was pretty cool too. I guess she knew I was an old soul.
