Bobby if you want to get around Dictator Dans curfew, just put a tea towel on you head.
Now - that's an idea.
It's true they aren't getting fined. That is extremely annoying but understandable as Dan is right and getting honest answers as to contacts is more important at this stage than collecting a fine.
What worries me more is one of the ministers mentioned the word Afghanis and has since been brought to task and had to apologise.
But it is about time a bit of plain talking was allowed.
This whole virus spread started when muslim guards disregarded the rules in place and celebrated Eid in big family get togethers.
We were told then it was the government's fault as they didn't give grants to get the message across to multicultural communities.
The spread in April was also in Hallam. It's the next suburb to me. The muslims here understand English just fine, or most of them do. there would be someone in every family who does, at any rate.
Now we have a doctor reporting that she is getting cases where the very sick people refuse to be tested for covid as they don't want to cause restrictions on the rest of their family. In other words they know very well they are likely to have covid but don't care if they spread it.
I'll just report one conversation. Prep child, Afghani, talking about big muslim get together
Teacher: Yes, I know of it. Shame you can't have it this year.
Child: Yes we will, mum says she will just shut the curtains.

The group isn't going to be honest if they think they will cop fines, but no one should get in trouble for pointing out what group is causing the trouble and tell them to lift their game.
