“That's their job. There’s nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being president in his last year.”
Nominate a new Justice, Mr. President. He can't do that, Mechanic. The Republicans don't believe in it, remember? You know, like they don't believe in diverting military funds to build walls - or how they're committed to government spending surpluses. Or, you know, how they think fallen soldiers aren't losers and suckers - that sort of thing. You? Oh, that's right. You won't say. You're still in mourning, no? Give him time. He's still mourning the death of Mr Trump's brother. You know, the one Mr Trump loved so much that he devoted a full ten minutes to giving a eulogy for him at his funeral? Ten minutes. Sure, nine minutes were spent talking about how much Mr Trump's brother admired Donald, but the President is very busy (what with TV, golf, etc.). If only his brother had worn a mask. Oh well. The Mechanic's a PATRIOT, Greggery. Of course he mourns the loss of his President's own brother. The Mechanic feels sorry for all fellow Americans who've succumbed to this virus ... Well, apart from the blue states of course. Well yes, apart from blue states, of course. But the Mechanic feels for his fellow dead Trump supporters, can we at least agree on that? The leftards are ridiculous and not worth bothering with, but the Mechanic cares, Greggery. He's just too upset to comment on it here. It takes time to heal, you see. We wish you well in your time of grief, Mechanic. You'll bounce back, you'll see. One day, you'll be able to engage and respond with the rest of us, but until then, know this. We care. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, no?
