FCS - why would you imagine that destroying the over-arching infrastructure does not leave pockets of insurgents around the place - the quote above shows they got the ISIS CALIPHATE - that doesn't mean ISIS is no longer there. Roll Eyes

If 100 Muslim terrorists got loose in Australia, they could double the murder numbers throughout the country in little time. The rape of non-Muslims would escalate. The costs of damage would make state and federal governments rethink out tax rates.

Sort them fundamentalists out in their countries before they come and wreck ours.

So the reality that the US is still in Syria now in its fight against ISIS now means that ISIS is no longer there? So why is the US still there and ISIS still operating?

That's like saying - in 1968 - "We've taken out the VC infrastructure in the south and inflicted huge losses on the VC - now we are only dealing with the remnants of the NVA." You DO understand the difference between the ISIS Khalifate and ISIS simple???
