Spain      566 326      29 747      270.7      1.6
France      381 094      30 916      153.9      0.5
United_Kingdom      368 504      41 628      51.1      0.2
Italy      287 753      35 610      32.4      0.2
Germany      260 355      9 350      21.7      0.1
Romania      103 495      4 163      86.1      3.0
Belgium      93 361      9 925      70.6      0.3
Sweden      86 505      5 846      22.7      0.2
Netherlands      82 023      6 245      69.2      0.2

the 4 columns are'

number of cases  /number of deaths / last fortnight new cases per 100,000  /  last fortnight number of deaths per 100,000.

one can see that sweden which NEVER LOCKED DOWN has 22.7 new cases per 100,000 population and 0.2 deaths per 100,000 in the last fortnight.

whilst spain  france , italy and the UK (ALL OF WHICH HAVE HAD ROLLING LOCKDOWNS) have higher numbers per 100.000 of both infections and deaths.

undeniable proof that lockdowns do not work .

how sad for victoria.

should i send this excellent graph to dan

from the very reputable european centre for disease prevention

You seem to have forgotten to mention the death toll
Almost 6,000 people from a population of only 10 million
Thats per capita amongst the worst in the world

But now your cherry picking your stats from the past 14 days

There is no centre for diseases.

You may mean the Center for Disease Control in the USA

Current stats as follows

86505 out of 10,099,265 people. 5846 deaths

Thats a mortality rate of 57.8 deaths per 100,000 people. CFR of 6.8%
In the 2017-18 flu season, Swerden had 13,757 cases of flu, with 505 deaths
Thats a mortality rate of 5 per 100,000 people. CFR of 3.67%

So thanks to no lockdown, Sweden had 10 times more deaths of a disease with twice the CFR

In comparison

Australia 26,692 cases for 26 million people. 816 deaths
mortality rate of 3.13 per 100000 people, CFR of 3.1%

So for roughly twice the population, we've had a qurter of the cases and 15% of the deaths
If Australia had the same rates as Sweden we would have had

222702 cases
15050 deaths

So don't smacking tell me lockdown didn't work

You're the one whos bought up Sweden as an example to be followed, so its perfectly reasonable to compare us to them. And this current death rate? WTF does that mean. That this week they have low cases, well that doesn't make up for the sheer flustercuck they had to begin with

why?

the lockdown coutries

UK, france, italy spain

have

MORE DEATHS per 100,000 over all
MORE DEATHS  per  100,000 last month
MORE PEOPLE INFECTED   per 100,000 currently.

spain italy uk and france have all dropped gdp by 11 to 14 %
sweden is 8 %.

they are killing more people, faster , have more economic loss and still have higher number.

spains current infection rate is 800 % what swedens is.

proof, with data that sweden was correct.

now off to your remedial maths class. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

dear Aqua,
we don't know enough about this virus yet.
What is it doing to infected people?

I reckon it's a bio weapon made by the Chinese to control
the world's population as it even attacks the testes and
could make men sterile.
Is it possible that all men who have had it are now sterile?
It also attacks the brain -
could we now have millions of people who just
lost 10 or 20   IQ points?
It attacks the liver, kidneys and heart.
Will we see millions of people die in a few years due to such damage to their bodies?
It's a shocking virus that has been a disaster for the entire world.

I don't want to get it.
I reckon it's an eventual death sentence even if you seem to recover now.

Scoot hysterically cries that we should look at the data, then totally ignores it.

Well done Scoot.

You brought up a mic drop moment that, when you do actually look at the data as you so childishly sqeeled, not just the tiny subset that you think proves your point, you find that the full story of Sweeden shows the opposite of what you're claiming.

Again the question is why must you misrepresent everything to do with COVID-19?

What possible motivation do you have that has you deliberately being so wrong all the time?  Especially when, in the time of the pandemic that wrong information you push has the potential to cost lives...

Hmmmm jargon. CFR.

Did not know what it meant so looked it up:

Quote:
In epidemiology, a case fatality rate (CFR) — sometimes called case fatality risk or case-fatality ratio — is the proportion of deaths from a certain disease compared to the total number of people diagnosed with the disease for a particular period. A CFR is conventionally expressed as a percentage and represents a measure of disease severity.[1] CFRs are most often used for diseases with discrete, limited-time courses, such as outbreaks of acute infections. A CFR can only be considered final when all the cases have been resolved (either died or recovered). The preliminary CFR, for example, during an outbreak with a high daily increase and long resolution time would be substantially lower than the final CFR.
