Reference and they didn't need a 2nd wave cause their 1st wave was so big
now i have to teach remedial science.
the reference is the centre for diseases
and you say the first wave was SO BIG
86,000 people out of 10 million have tested positive.
thats not even 1 %
.
so big
There is no centre for diseases.
You may mean the Center for Disease Control in the USA
Current stats as follows
86505 out of 10,099,265 people. 5846 deaths
Thats a mortality rate of 57.8 deaths per 100,000 people. CFR of 6.8%
In the 2017-18 flu season, Swerden had 13,757 cases of flu, with 505 deaths
Thats a mortality rate of 5 per 100,000 people. CFR of 3.67%
So thanks to no lockdown, Sweden had 10 times more deaths of a disease with twice the CFR
In comparison
Australia 26,692 cases for 26 million people. 816 deaths
mortality rate of 3.13 per 100000 people, CFR of 3.1%
So for roughly twice the population, we've had a qurter of the cases and 15% of the deaths
If Australia had the same rates as Sweden we would have had
222702 cases
15050 deaths
So don't smacking tell me lockdown didn't work
