Victoria records 51 new coronavirus cases
and seven COVID-19 deaths

Victoria has reported 51 new coronavirus infections overnight and a further seven deaths.

The seven deaths bring the state's coronavirus death toll to 701.

More details about today's cases, as well as the official 14-day averages, are expected to be released later today.

Yesterday's 14-day daily case averages were 74.5 in metropolitan Melbourne and 5 in regional Victoria.

Melbourne apparently has close to the most severe and longest lockdown...in the world.

I'm now regularly hearing news that Victoria's contract tracing is not crash hot.

Another interesting bit of info, NSW handled 55% of all returned travelers and there was one incident that was traced and didn't get out of control.

Not sure the exact number that Vic had, but not only did they bungled it, they bungled it with much lower numbers than NSW.

Victoria to be the most successful State at war with China when the time comes. Other States are lacking.
